Maria A. Bergman, Ph.D.
Dr. Bergman is a licensed clinical psychologist who has worked in the field of neuropsychology for the past ten years. She completed her internship at Oak Forest Hospital with an emphasis on neuropsychology and rehabilitation. Dr. Bergman has extensive experience in the areas of trauma related injury, neurooncology, neurological disorders, learning disabilities, anxiety, mood and attentional disorders (ADHD). She received some of her training at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, Evanston Hospital, John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, University of Chicago, Illinois Masonic Medical Center, and Lutheran General Children’s Hospital. She has published peer reviewed articles and a book chapter in the areas of pediatric and adult neuropsychology, spinal cord injury, mental illness, and forensic neuropsychology. Her work has been presented at local, national, and international scientific meetings. Dr. Bergman specializes in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of children, adolescents, and adults presenting with medical, neurological, and/or psychiatric conditions.  Dr. Bergman is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA), International Neuropsychological Society (INS), Midwest Neuropsychology Group (MNG), and the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology.
