Maureen Stress, Ph.D. |
Dr. Stress has worked as a clinician and researcher in the field of neuropsychology for the past ten years. She has extensive experience in the areas of trauma related injury, neurooncology, neurological disorders, learning disabilities, and crisis management. Dr. Stress received her pediatric training at the John H. Stroger Hospital of Cook County, University of Illinois at Chicago, and Lutheran General Children’s Hospital. She has published peer reviewed articles and book chapters in the areas of pediatric cardiovascular health and cognitive function, neuroendocrinology, and cognitive rehabilitation, and emergency medicine. Her work has been presented at national and international scientific meetings. Dr. Stress is a member of the American Psychological Association, International Neuropsychological Society, National Academy of Neuropsychology, and Society of Behavioral Medicine.
